Become Our Next Environmental Hero of the Month

Nominate and green business for the hero of the month award

Are you part of an organization that is committed to recycling?

Whether you are a small business with a handful of employees or large business with hundreds of employees, or, maybe you’re a school system, operate cruise ships, a medical facility, or a hotel; every step toward protecting our environment counts.

Air Cycle is looking for people like you who go the extra mile to not only follow the letter of the law, but to also go above and beyond what is required to comply with state and federal waste rules and take pride in your efforts to produce a truly sustainable work environment.

If this sounds like you, Air Cycle would like to learn more about your commitment and would like to feature you in our monthly Environmental Hero of the Month blog. You can nominate your organization, or someone you know, and let us showcase those efforts. Simply send your submission to

Here’s what we want to know:

How do Air Cycle’s products and services help you attain your recycling and sustainable practices at your facility?

Why are environmentally responsible business practices important to your facility?

How is your environmental program promoted at your company?

Take a look at our August “Hero of the Month,” Fairfax County Public Schools in Virginia, who use our Bulb Eater® 3 lamp crushing system to recycle thousands of spent bulbs safely and efficiently each year. In Fairfax County, practicing sustainability is more than meeting recycling requirements. It’s an important part of the curriculum, raising a new generation of environmentally conscious children and young adults.
