Trends in Energy-Efficient Lighting
While efficient day-to-day operations and incremental lighting improvements can go a long way toward minimizing a facility's lighting costs and environmental impact, it helps to keep the big-picture in mind for long-term facility energy-efficiency planning.
A recent report from Pike Research indicates that recent expansion trends in energy-efficient lighting will continue through the next decade, according to a
summary from Construtech. Although fluorescent lighting is already very energy-efficient, dimming and other lighting-control technologies will increase, according to the report.
